Moot Got Talent
The Moot 2025 Ceremonies Team established this regulation to outline the rules and guidelines for the “Moot Got Talent” event. This event aims to celebrate the talents of participants from around the world, highlighting originality, diversity, and cultural representation in performances. This regulation ensures a fair, transparent, and inclusive process for all participants, culminating in live performances during the talent night on August 2nd, 2025.
ARTICLE I – GENERAL DIRECTIVES
- The “Moot Got Talent” is organised and promoted by the Moot 2025 Ceremonies Team, which is responsible for coordinating all aspects of the band’s activities and performances during the event.
- All participants must submit their talent in video format from the 6th until the 31st of May. Late submissions will not be accepted.
- The video should have a maximum duration of 5 minutes and should display the talent.
- The results of the selection of the performances will occur on the 22nd of June.
- A maximum of 7 performances will be selected to participate in the live showcase, which will take place during the talent night on the 31st of July, 2025.
- Participants must submit a video of their intended performance, along with a written description that provides context, including any cultural or regional significance and the general concept or theme of the act.
- Submissions should be uploaded to this form by the specified deadline. Each submission will receive confirmation of entry.
- Performances must adhere to the following guidelines:
- Performances should not exceed 5 minutes.
- Acts must align with the values and principles of the moot event, respecting cultural sensitivities and community standards.
- Dangerous stunts or any activities that might pose a risk to participants or the audience are strictly prohibited.
ARTICLE II – SELECTION AND JURY CRITERIA
- The submitted performances will be published on the Moot website where anyone can vote on their favourite.
- The top 7 voted submissions will perform live in the Moot.
ARTICLE III – PERFORMANCE AT THE TALENT NIGHT
- Selected participants will perform their acts live at the talent night on the 31st of July, 2025. The sequence of performances will be determined by the Moot 2025 Ceremonies Team and communicated in advance.
- Participants must arrive at the performance venue prior to the start of the talent night to prepare and conduct sound checks if required. The time slot allocated to each participant will be announced later.
- All performances are expected to reflect the spirit of the moot and foster an atmosphere of talent camaraderie and respect.
FINAL PROVISIONS
This regulation may be amended by the Moot 2025 ceremonies team if deemed necessary to enhance the safety, organisation, or overall experience of the talent competition. Any modifications will be communicated promptly to all participants. By participating, all entrants agree to comply with these regulations and acknowledge the authority of the Moot 2025 Ceremonies Team to make final decisions regarding the competition.
