The song I chose to sing is a traditional Cypriot song called “\u03a4\u2019 \u0391\u03b7 \u0393\u03b9\u03c9\u03c1\u03ba\u03bf\u03cd” (Saint George\u2019s Song). I believe that Saint George, as the patron saint of Scouting, is a symbol for every Christian Scout around the world. In Cyprus, my country, we always celebrate the 23rd of April with a parade that brings together Scouts from all over the island. For us, this is a very important and meaningful day. We are proud to have a traditional song that honors Saint George, and we sing it during our celebration.
